Product Description
Stinkpots or common musk turtles are mostly aquatic and do very well as residentgarbage disposals.They readily eat pellets, even ones that have settled to the bottom, along with any protein matter they are offered.
They do well in community tanks so long as they are with slightly larger, more active turtles - as they sometimes nip the tails of their cage mates.
Once accustomed to people, they are fascinating to watch as they forage about the bottom of their tank. As adults they thrive in both larger tanks and outdoor ponds.

Amazing little turtles
I did a lot of research before buying. I was going through Facebook groups reading readit threads and finally came across a YouTube video from someone I watch alot. He named this person/site. My turtle came well packed clearly labeled and on the day I scheduled. My turtle is thriving so far. It looks perfect and healthy. I would recommen to anyone.

Beyond Expectations
The stinkpot that I ordered from The Turtle Source has been the most personable and healthy-looking turtle I've ever seen! As soon as he came in, he was already eagerly exploring his tank and was taking food the same night without a care in the world. Over a year later and he's just as personable and always loves coming up to the glass to beg for food when he sees me. Probably the best pet turtle for most people so please don't hesitate if you want a small turtle with lots of personality!!

I received my turtle in the mail on May 30th and the baby turtle is missing his front left hand to nails, he still has the rest of his arm. I ordered a turtle without minor imperfections.

The musk turtle I ordered was DOA. I was anxious about having to deal with customer service and anticipated them taking forever to get back to me. But I got a call back less than an hour! The lady was great and very sympathetic. She shipped another one out right away and he came on time and in great shape! He’s the cutest little dude ever!!!!!
