Product Description

Albino Red Eared Sliders are one of the most striking of all turtles to keep. One in a million, their survival in the wild is almost impossible. Luckily a few breeders, produce them for keepers to appreciate and enjoy. Albino Red Eared Sliders are one of the few turtles that actually are hatched for gender by temperature. Ours are past the difficult early stages and well started. Albinos Red Ears behave the same as normal Red Eared Sliders, and they otherwise have the same husbandry requirements which follow:

The most common turtle available the world over, Red Eared Sliders make excellent starter turtles, and adults will brighten up outdoor ponds in nearly all US temperature zones. They do well in tanks, water and land setups, and when kept with most other species.

They bask frequently, and will even pile on top of each other for the best sunning position. In community set ups, it's often the red ears example that quickens other species taming down. Red ears are omnivorous, eating pellets, most greens, insects, fish, mollusks etc.

*Please note that Virginia and Florida do not allow Red Eared Sliders to be possessed by the public - so we are not able to ship normal colored Red Eared Sliders to those states. Florida does have a special exception for the different color morphs including: Ghost Red Ears, Albino Red Ears and Hypo/Pastel Red Ears; all of which can be shipped to Florida destinations.

    Very cute, strong and perfect!

This is my first time buying live animals online, i did a lot of back and forth thinking if I'm gonna buy or not, I look around the reptiles store near us and could not find red eared sliders, we have one baby red eared slider that was given to me and my husband and we want to have at least 3 more so he could have buddies! After reseaching and reading reviews I decided a go and bought three, all red eared sliders but different kinds, albino, rio grande and heterozygous which by description has a gene of albino. Communication is GREAT from the beginning to untill the turtles are delivered! They made sure my turtles will be safe because the weather is hot! But they made it alive and strong! it was overnight shipping from Florida to Sacramento,CA. They communicate through the whole process from buying to shipping updates. It was a great experience as a first time buying live animals online. Very satisfied buyer here and will recommend to families and friends!

Well established hatchling albino red eared slider

Posted by Christopher Lacross on Mar 19th 2022

Turtle came healthy and active and as advertised very well established. Description needs revision, albinos have poor vision almost blind and have a very difficult time eating because they cannot see the food. Also they are extremely sensitive to low ph bellow 6.5, had to set up a new higher ph habitat because the low ph caused slight bleeding at the scute seams. Low ph is just to acidic for baby albinos to tolerate. Two days in higher ph and symptoms are gone thank god.

    Albino Red Eared Slider

I was pretty excited to receive this little gal. Package was undamaged when I received it. The little turtle was in great shape. Honestly I think it had been napping a bit. I took it out of the packaging and the container took a couple of pictures. Took a little video. And then introduced it to its new home. 55 gallons of growing room. It's been a couple of weeks since my purchase. I witness her feeding regularly. Great little purchase. Couldn't be happier with it.
