Eastern Painted Turtle

Squirtle arrived without a hitch. Extremely healthy. A little slow to accept pellet food but went straight for the plants in his aquarium. Dark shell with no imperfections. I expect him to thrive. The turtle was not sexed but by the length of the tail, we're judging male. No complaints, will purchase from The Turtle Source again.

We got our little guy over a month ago and couldn’t be happier he is healthy and we can’t wait to watch him grow and get bigger we got him within a day and he was packaged and handled well.

I purchased 2 well established hatchlings, an Eastern and a Western Painted turtle...I couldn't decide so got both... I was amazed at how quickly our little guys...or girls arrived. UPS was here with them right on schedule. They were well packed and appeared to be handled with care. The driver was very gentle when carrying them up the driveway. Once I got them inside and out of the box they looked very clean and were very active. After a quick inspection they went right to their new home and as of today (3 days) appear to still be happy and healthy. My worries were "what if they came injured from the ride and what if they didn't eat?" No injuries and they ate the turtle food without any problems...they knew exactly what it was and didn't hesitate. The website was easy to navigate. The only issue I had was it wouldn't let me purchase at 1st because our state requires a health certificate. Once I figured out what it was asking me to do all went smoothly. I was very nervous about this experience but I am impressed!! Well done and would definitely recommend them to others.

I purchased 2 Eastern Painted Turtle hatchlings online. The turtles arrived in 24 hours and the turtles were in excellent condition. Excellent customer service.

Would definitely recommend. Ordered a yearling eastern painted. From order to arrival was less than 24 hours. He was packaged safely. They even sent food which I thought was super awesome. He was active and interactive with his new environment the first day. Me and my 4 yo son are absolutely i love with the little guy! Thank you!!!

On 12/30/2022, I received my 2 inch Eastern Painted Turtle from the turtle source. My beautiful little turtle was packed well and was very active once I took him out of the box and placed him into his new home. Taylor was a great help. She made sure to select the turtle that I had requested. My overall experience with the turtle source has been excellent. Look forward to doing business with them again. Guys, thank you so much!
