Product Description
Mississippi Map Turtles are excellent starter turtles, and they make fine community turtles as well. As with most maps, they have very detailed shell and skin patterns. True omnivores, they will take pellets, plant matter, insects, fish, mollusks and earth worms.
Mississippi maps are fond of basking, but quickly dive in when approached. In time, they overcome this instinct and become quite tame. They are very good tank turtles, and adults also do well in outdoor ponds.

I ordered my Mississippi map turtle as a hatchling. I believe shipping/transit only took about 12hrs. He seems very healthy and happy, adjusting to his new environment. A little shy but not excessively, doesn’t panic when I pick him up. Over all very happy :)

Mississippi Map Turtle (Yearling)
My Mississippi Map Turtle was shipped via UPS Overnight and arrived healthy and in excellent condition. The turtle is an excellent example of the breed and is perfect in every way. This Yearling shows it has been raised well and has developed normally. I am extremely happy with my new turtle which I have named Augie. While the animal's gender is undetermined at present, the length of its tail suggests that Augie may be a male. Turtle Source will be my turtle Source in all my future orders.

We love our little turtles! They shipped quickly, they were packaged great and included some food too. We love watching our little guys explore their new habitat.
