Product Description
Mississippi Map Turtles are excellent starter turtles, and they make fine community turtles as well. As with most maps, they have very detailed shell and skin patterns. True omnivores, they will take pellets, plant matter, insects, fish, mollusks and earth worms.
Mississippi maps are fond of basking, but quickly dive in when approached. In time, they overcome this instinct and become quite tame. They are very good tank turtles, and adults also do well in outdoor ponds.

Good turtle
This one was the most active of the three turtles I ordered. This turtle did come with quite a bit of algae all over his shell. We cleaned the turtle up and the turtle is happy as ever and seems to be very healthy. With a healthy appetite.

Mississippi Map Turtle
I purchased this sweet little munchkin for my 14-year-old granddaughter. I ordered approximately 2 weeks before I wanted it to arrive. It arrived right on time in a well-packaged box. The turtle was in great shape and we could pick it up without any visible stress to this tiny cutie-pie. We called to ask a few questions about care and were treated with courtesy and friendliness. I’d give it 5 stars but I’ve only had the turtle 2 days. It seems healthy. It’s alert and active. I’m yet to see it eat but it’s still exploring its new environment. Packaging wise it was very well packaged for the turtles safety.
