Product Description
One of the prettiest of all the sliders, the Belize Slider (Trachemys scripta venusta) ranges from Veracruz Mexico, south through the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize and Honduras. This very colorful slider is very out going and hardy, and will brighten up any tank as a single turtle, as a member of a small group, or as part of a larger community tank.
Belize Sliders do very well on pellets, veggies and some fruits, crickets, super worms and aquatic plants. They love to bask, and do very well in 70 - 80 degree water. The Belize Slider is a good species for keepers just starting out. After several years, they grow fairly large, and make excellent pond turtles in warmer climates.
Please note: The Belize Sliders pictured are several months old. Hatchlings take a few months with proper diet and UVB light to develop their brighter colors

Arrived protected well - happy and healthy. Excellent customer service. Cold climate and the weather monitoring they did was very considerate of our new turtle. Shipped with a heat pack and food promised as part of the cold weather deal. Will definitely get more turtles from them!

Very chill turtle. Was stinky upon arrival, but since then has done great and really likes floating around the dock in his tank.

Beautiful specimens !!!! Well packed . The larger Belize (3.5 “) was in a very nice accommodating heavy fabric\breathable bag . I wondered how a larger turtle could be better shipped than in a container best for smaller critters. Both are eating very well and shells etc very healthy . They include a generous portion of pellets with your order , very nice touch . Shipping was spot on . Great experience , wonderful turtles , highly highly recommend this over any other distributor , I’ve ordered from a few . A++

6 " Belize Slider
I have a female Belize slider I've raised from a baby in my backyard pond, but last year, she started wandering around the neighborhood looking for some company, so this season I got her a male. The turtle arrived very promptly (overnight shipping.) He was very healthy and happy and took to the pond right away. I look forward to some great little baby turtles.
