Product Description

Lime Green Albino Red Eared Sliders are an entirely different genetic form of Albino. For what ever reason, their form of albinism comes complete with a pretty shade of Lime Green instead of yellow. There are even a few different patterns and lighter and darker variations of the green. (See the top picture) Their pupils are a darker red than that of the more common, yellow albinos. Only a few breeders are working with this very different color morph - whose behavior is even more lively than yellow Albinos.

If you're a big fan of the color green - this neat morph is for you - they also look great next to the more common yellow Albinos.

Their care is identical to normally colored red eared sliders, and follows:

The most common turtle available the world over, Red Eared Sliders make excellent starter turtles, and adults will brighten up outdoor ponds in nearly all US temperature zones. They do well in tanks, water and land setups, and can easily be kept with most other species.

They bask frequently, and will even pile on top of each other for the best sunning position. In community set ups, it's often the red ears example that quickens other species taming down. Red ears are omnivorous, eating pellets, most greens, insects, fish, mollusks etc.

*Please note that Virginia and Florida do not allow Red Eared Sliders to be possessed by the public - so we are not able to ship Red Eared Sliders to those states. Florida does have a special exception for the different color morphs including: Caramel Pink Albino Red Eared Sliders, Ghost Red Eared Sliders, Albino Red Eared Sliders and Hypo/Pastel Red Eared Sliders; all of which can be shipped to Florida destinations.

* Remember, each turtle order comes with a free starter sample of the same Turtle diet your Turtle has been raised on - this will last one small turtle a few weeks - to order larger quantities, see the lower left side of this page. *

Lime Green Albino Red Eared Slider

I bought two yearlings. These are big, at least 4 inch SCL. These are now my most stunning turtles. The green background becomes lighter in tone, but is made more distinctive due to the pure yellow lines that run through the carapace. I have some other RES morphs and these are the quickest most graceful swimmers I have ever seen. I am so happy to have these two "stars" in my collection. The Turtle Source is first class in all respects. I want to thank both Alexis and Maria for their outstanding service . For Marc, this is definitely a labor of love and he is making this a very exciting time to be a turtle enthusiast.
