Product Description

One of nicest Two Headed Red Eared Sliders we've ever seen, this one will be a yearling in early July. It has a very straight, almost perfect shell. Both heads eat, and are very out going. An oddity even for a two headed turtle, this one often moves with both heads operating in unison, with both outside eyes working together, and the inside eyes more cautious. This unique turtle is the picture of perfect health and is an excellent candidate to reach full maturity and live a long life. Except for some extra TLC worthy of it's extreme rarity it's description and care are the same as for normal Red Eared Sliders and follows:

The most common turtle available the world over, Red Eared Sliders make excellent starter turtles, and adults will brighten up outdoor ponds in nearly all US temperature zones. They do well in tanks, water and land setups, and when kept with most other species.

They bask frequently, and will even pile on top of each other for the best sunning position. In community set ups, it's often the red ears example that quicken other species taming down. Red ears are omnivorous, eating pellets, most greens, insects, fish, mollusks etc.

**Please Note: Red Eared Sliders are not allowed to be shipped to Virginia or Florida. Rarer color morphs of Red Eared Sliders, such as Albino Red Ears, Pastel Red Ears, Hypo Red Ears and Ghost Red Ears are permitted to be shipped to Florida. Please contact us if you have any questions - Thank you.

Thank you for not culling them

Since I know that these mutations happen more often than people realize (evident based on other comments), thank you for not doing what MOST breeders do when they have an imperfect animal, and culling them. The higher cost will guarantee than the buyer has a vested interest in caring for that animal too. For the education of others - you can't purposely breed this type of thing - it's not like a colour morph.
