Description

The rarest of all the star tortoises, the Burmese Star Tortoise is found only in Burma, and it's numbers have suffered greatly do to over collection for food. In the wild, these beautiful tortoises share the share their dry forest habitats with elongated tortoises. Habitat destruction has also taken a serious toll on the numbers of Burmese Star Tortoises. With just a small handful of American breeders working with this species, availability is extremely limited.

We are currently raising a small group of 2008s and 2007 yearlings that should be ready for the world in a few weeks. Photos available soon.
