Super Hypo Melanistic Common Snapping Turtle: (Chelydra serpentina)

Description

Orange and more orange...This High Orange Snapper has shown the most orange coloring at it's current size than any we've had so far (including our featured orange snapper). At 2.75 inches and 113 Grams, this snapper is as pretty as they get. It's shell has a pretty star burst pattern with orange all around the edge. The claws are bright white, and the skin is a striking orange color. Some days it is even brighter than in the photos. As this snapper grows it's colors will only get better. It's sibling is currently available on our Hypo Snapper page - providing an excellent opportunity to breed for High Orange snappers.

Please note that California and Washington state do not allow Snapping Turtles to be kept by individuals - so we can not ship Snapping Turtles to those states without special permits.
